
WHAT IT'S ALL ABOUT

We were tasked to propose an original concept pitch for a video led story channel about beauty for Singapore Press Holdings (SPH). This was done as one of our curriculum projects for our module 'Consumer Psychology'

WHAT WE DID
​
Firstly, we started off with researching on:
1. Observed trends of beauty channels and videos
2. What worked in beauty channels and videos
3. What did not work in beauty channels and videos
​
After researching, we came up with insights and our key persona.
​
Based on our insights and key persona, we then went on to brainstorm about the concept of our channel.

Book Of Beauty
​
Book Of Beauty delivers beauty tips and real reviews for women. Each week, the Book of Beauty delivers well-developed and researched content that addresses common beauty concerns with 3 products brought to the test. Not limited to makeup, the series will cover skincare, body wellness, and intimate concerns.

HOW I FELT
​
As someone who is interested in watching beauty videos, this concept pitch was very fun to work with as I got to experience how it's like to brainstorm and plan for content ideas. Through this, I also learned that there is a lot of hard work behind the scenes just to produce a good video.
