Project Description

Slightly Scarlet is SMU Bondue’s (Singapore Management University Business Society) annual philanthropic event which seeks to raise funds and increase awareness for social causes. Unlike previous years, Slightly Scarlet 2020 will be a virtual campaign where we partner with Guide Dogs Singapore (GDS) to raise awareness and funds for the visually impaired community.  

Themed “Enlighten", we aim to shed some light on the visually impaired community as well as bring light into their lives during the COVID-19 pandemic.

What We Did

As the head of the marketing and communications department, I led a team of 5 to create a series of online content for Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok and YouTube to raise awareness for the visually impaired community. Through a period of 4 months, we conceptualized, filmed and executed this campaign together with the programmes department with the support of our ambassadors.

We also launched a website that garnered a reach of over 2,600 unique visitors whereby members of the public can learn more about Slightly Scarlet. It also acts as a platform for them to purchase our merchandise.
